Zooming in on new displays
BASF issued a EUR 1 bn green bond that was listed on LuxSE and displayed on LGX. The proceeds will finance projects launched in 2021 as part of the BASF's sustainability strategy. Parts of the proceeds will finance the offshore wind farm Hollandse Kust Zuid, which will be the largest one in the world once fully operational in 2023.
The Brazilian stock exchange B3 (Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão) brought its inaugural sustainability-linked bond to LGX. The USD 700 m bond's sustainable performance targets are linked to achieving a 35% women representation in management and leadership roles and creating a gender diversity index, in line with SDG 5 'Gender Equality'.
