New LGX Market Study: EU Taxonomy disclosure

To mark the 6-year anniversary of LGX, we have published our latest market study, which assesses the current level of EU Taxonomy-related disclosure for green, sustainability and sustainability-linked bonds listed worldwide.
In the study, we provide you with a snapshot of the state and nature of bond-level EU Taxonomy-related disclosure provided by issuers today, with country and sector-specific breakdowns. If you would like to learn more about how issuers are preparing for the EU Taxonomy, we invite you to explore our findings and look at real-world examples of EU Taxonomy-related disclosures by issuers who are leading the way in this space.

Zooming in on new displays
The Republic of Uruguay's inaugural sustainability-linked bond is now displayed on LGX. The coupon on the notes will be subject to a step-down/step-up option linked to the achievement of two climate-related sustainability performance targets, aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preserving native forests.
With its inaugural EUR 750 m social bond, the largest ever of its kind issued by an Italian bank, Intesa Sanpaolo has successfully made its debut on LGX. The proceeds will refinance the bank's social portfolio, currently made of loans to Italian SMEs operating in disadvantaged areas and to not-for-profit organisations focused on social sectors.
The Republic of the Philippines is back on LGX with a new USD 750 m sustainability bond, marking its third international issuance in 2022. The proceeds will finance and refinance assets in accordance with the sovereign’s Sustainable Finance Framework.
