LuxSE acquires a stake in sustainability data provider Util
We are pleased to announce that we have acquired a stake in Util, a global sustainability data provider based in the UK. Led by Eldridge, the USD 6 million seed investment round will support Util's expansion and help meet the growing demand for ESG data coverage.
"A growing number of investors are now seeking solid sources of sustainability data to evaluate the positive or negative SDG contributions of different companies as this allows them to make informed investment decisions that reflect their sustainability objectives,” our CEO Julie Becker noted.

News from the LGX Academy

The LGX Academy provided a tailor-made training to over fifty senior executives and officials from public and private entities in Cambodia in order to build capacity of thematic bond issuance in the country. Our lecturer and Sustainability Research Manager Paul Chahine put his knowledge to use by giving market participants the tools to identify the best bond for their needs, understand best market practices and discover practical examples.
Zooming in on new displays
European company for financing of railroad rolling stock Eurofima brought its new EUR 500 m green bond to LGX, where the company is flagged as a 100% Climate-Aligned Issuer! The proceeds will be invested in electric passenger transport according to the company's Green Bond Framework, which is aligned with the EU Taxonomy.
Invitalia, the National Agency for inward investment promotion and enterprise development, made its debut on LGX with an inaugural EUR 350 m social bond. The proceeds will notably finance MSMEs led by women and facilitate the development of female and youth entrepreneurship.
A USD 10 m green bond from Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise Bonds (Symbiotics) was displayed on LGX. The proceeds will finance the sale of solar kits created by Sun Kind in Sub-Saharan Africa. The kits provide affordable solar power systems to homes that do not have access to electricity through regular power grids.
