NMB BANK BRINGS GENDER BOND TO LUXSE

On International Women's Day, we organised our annual Ring the Bell for Gender Equality with over 100 exchanges worldwide. This year, we celebrated the listing on our exchange of the first gender bond from Sub-Saharan Africa issued by NMB Bank. The TZS 74 bn (USD 32 m) proceeds will give up to 3,000 women in Tanzania access to the necessary financing to start or grow their own business.
LAUNCH OF LUXEMBOURG WOMEN IN FINANCE CHARTER

The same day, Luxembourg Minister of Finance Yuriko Backes joined us to launch the Luxembourg Women in Finance Charter aimed at improving gender diversity in the Luxembourg financial centre.
Over 69 financial services firms have signed the Charter so far, thus committing to making the financial centre more inclusive and fostering the representation of women at all levels.

LGX DATAHUB:COMPILING THE WORLD'S SUSTAINABLE BONDS IN ONE PLACE

Luxembourg media outlet Delano interviewed our Sustainability Manager Lucas Rabiot about the sustainability data on 10,500+ sustainable bonds available on the LGX DataHub and the interpretation process for all data points, touching on automation and why data is the best tool against greenwashing.
Zooming in on new displays
An inaugural EUR 500 m green bond from Belgian transmission system operator Elia Transmission Belgium was displayed on LGX. The bond's proceeds will finance or refinance renewable energy projects, covering SDGs 7 and 13.
Intesa Sanpaolo brought a EUR 2.5 bn dual-tranche green bond to LGX, gathering a strong interest from investors. The proceeds will finance or refinance green projects linked to renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean transportation, and much more.
